Our Program is simple to use and requires that you fill out one short application. We suggest that you do this with the help of your mortgage professional. In order to qualify you must purchase a home that has been enrolled in our Program. If the home you would like to buy is not in our Program let us know. You must also be using a mortgage program that allows for "gift funds". Finally you must fill out our Program Application, fax it to us at 202-234-7535 and await approval. We promise an answer within 24 hours. When approved for a gift, the Home Downpayment Gift Foundation will agree to wire the funds to the closing agent. As a home seller you benefit by selling your home faster while in most cases not affecting your bottom line. Many times the homebuyer's in our Program will make a full price offer for the home. As a seller of a home the Program is easy to use and is well worth the investment. First, you must fill out our "Seller Enrollment Form". You must agree to pay a program service fee to the Home Downpayment Gift Foundation. Typical service fees range from 3%-7% of the final sale price of your home. The funds are used to ensure that there are funds available for future gifts as well as other various charitable endeavors. Your fee is paid to us following the closing of the sale of your home out your proceeds. If for some reason the sale does not get completed, you are not obligated to pay the service fee.
